Sleepless night

Sleep has come and slept away

And am still in my bed laid awake

I have said my Hail Mary full grace

Please let the sleeping beauty come my way

I pretend to sleep with my hand in my face

But my eyes are alive reminiscing about my outside days

Night has come and faded away

And my eyes are tired like I haven't slept for days

I twist and turn For heart is burnt

Knowing that there would no more fun.

I move my pillows round and round

Pull my feet up and down

Am trying to sleep for one last time

I sleep and stop for the night is not mine
